Painting and Blinds

Last weekend was spend pulling down the old blinds and repainting the window sills an trim. Saturday the old curtains went down and we took them to the tip. We then washed all the windows and window sills and removed as much mould as we could.

On the way back from the tip we took a detour to the beach so that Callum could play in the sand. It was overcast and cool but he had fun filling his bucket with water and tipping it on our feet. He then had to put sand on our feet before tipping water on them which he thought was really funny. Cassandra and I played along pretending the water was really cold.

We bought ice-creams at Shellharbour and then headed home. I think we ordered in Thai on Saturday night which was a nice treat since we had a bit of 'entertainment' budget money saved up.

Sunday was spent painting. Two coats for the lounge room wasn't enough as you can tell there is green underneath it. Oh well, I should have undercoated but really couldn't be bothered. It all still looks very good.

Couldn't wait to get the new blinds because waking up at 6.15 with the sun glaring in is not fun.
